3 reasons why i bought a black merc slk from portland.

1. professional website - i found portland via the auto trader website on a visit to my parents in doncaster. what attracted me to visit portland was their very professional website with loads of glossy valeted pictures of stunning cars.

2. secondly the friendly and honest staff, after pulling up and speaking to barry (the valetor) who was a very nice man who told me to have a look around whilst i waited for james. after a test drive and speaking more with james who was very honest we struck a px deal with my porsche. 24hrs later we picked up the slk and drove away.

3. finally the location of the cars and the grounds made the overall experience worthwhile. the nice family estate and no pressure attitude of james and clive is what made the deal!!!! i strongly recommend portland and i will be back for more deals!

many months on still enjoying my range rover sport, top service from really nice people, look forward to the next time. cheers stuart

I recently purchased a Mercedes SLK 350 from Portland Autos of Bawtry. Always a bit unsure of the promises made by car dealers i never the less called in to see Clive the owner of Portland Autos. Straight away the car he offered me was exactly what he had advertised and after some negotiations we struck a deal. Everything there after was as he promised in fact returning my old tax disc as a early X mas presant to cash in from my px which he didnt need to do. A man who played very fair and who i have no problem in recomending to others. gerrybuilds@hotmail.com

i bought a 07 m3 convertable off clive from n. ireland without looking at car, it was as described as advertised when i seen it flew in to doncaster got picked up by clives wife who is a lovely person, done deal drove to holyhead for boat ,4hour drive long day but worth it i got the car i was looking for £4000 cheaper than other dealers. will buy off clive again in future no doubt, all the best clive in the future
